This presentation represents the third curated exhibition of 2026 produced by Atelier Gwanghwa, a specialized public media facade platform. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Sejong Center jointly operate this civic project to make digital media art easily accessible to citizens throughout their everyday urban routines.

The exhibition Infusing Light interprets the accumulated historical time and sensory pulse of Gwanghwamun through the medium of light, connecting the inner self of the individual with the collective urban landscape. Media artists Han Seungku and Hong Nakyum contribute evocative video installations tailored to the architectural envelope.

Artist Han Seungku presents Ilinx and MirrorMask: Self Beyond Boundaries, investigating human psychological interiority within social structures. Artist Hong Nakyum presents works rooted in light and nature, translating invisible flows that embrace the city into dynamic visual rhythms.

• Colossal Architectural Media Art: After sundown, large-scale media projections fully occupy the facade of the Sejong Center against the glowing nightscape of Gwanghwamun Square.
• Interrogating the Mask and the Inner Self: Han Seungku’s MirrorMask: Self Beyond Boundaries questions the tension between socially imposed personas and authentic identity.
• The City as a Living Organism: Hong Nakyum captures the urban fabric as a breathing, living entity through subtle streams and pulses of invisible light.
