Arrive through Yangsu Station
Semiwon’s official directions place the entrance about 700 metres on foot from Yangsu Station on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. Allow time for the walk and ticket purchase. The garden address is 93 Yangsu-ro. Arriving earlier in the afternoon gives more room for both stops than entering near closing.
Garden first, river second
Allow a suggested 60–90 minutes for selected garden areas and the Lotus Museum, checking current exhibition dates separately. The official FAQ confirms that the boat bridge reopened in April 2024 and connects Semiwon to Dumulmeori. Check access on arrival, then allow another 60–90 minutes for the connection and a riverside break. Keep the return walk to the station outside that allowance.

Hours and admission
Semiwon opens 09:00–18:00, last entry 17:30. It opens daily April–October and closes Mondays November–March, with a planned substitute closure after public-holiday Mondays. Adults pay KRW 7,000; eligible concession admission is KRW 4,000. The advertised local vouchers of KRW 2,000 or KRW 1,000 are not an upfront cash discount. Budget KRW 14,000 for two standard adult tickets.
Parking and practical details
The official directions currently say Yangseo Culture and Sports Park parking is unavailable due to construction. Check nearby public parking or use the train. Food is prohibited inside Semiwon, while drinks are allowed; pets, bicycles and scooters are restricted. Do not plan a garden picnic. Older photos show the locations, not today’s blooms.
