Weaving Ways, Shaping Fortune: reading the title
The exhibition focuses on practitioners who have completed training within Korea’s intangible-heritage transmission system. Rather than judging only how closely an object resembles an older model, consider how inherited skills connect with present-day scale and use. “Traditional craft” covers very different materials, functions and ways of making.
From an inkstone’s place to clothing
The official list includes Kim Donggyu’s 연의 자리 and Han Mijeong’s 녹원삼. They offer different starting points: an object associated with a writing setting, and a garment related to the body. Begin with each label’s title and materials. A photograph can show form, but it cannot by itself establish every production process or the maker’s intention.
Compare function as well as decoration
Choose two or three objects with different uses. Ask whether each is held, worn or placed within a room, and how that affects proportion and ornament. Look closely at surfaces and connections, then step back to see the whole. This is a suggested viewing method rather than an official interpretation, and it works without prior knowledge of every craft category.

The current event listing and poster specify Youthquake Building B at 27 Hyoja-ro. Viewing is 10:00–18:00 with no closure days during the ten-day run; an opening ceremony is scheduled for 14:00 on October 1.
