Residents become photographers
The exhibition grew from Bisa Club, a photography program led by artist Kang Seong-gyu at the Ami-jeom creative space. Six neighbours used mobile phones to photograph their village. Most participants are over 70 and the eldest is 87, according to the foundation. Look for the attention that everyday familiarity can bring to a scene.
An artist and his neighbours
Kang works with photography, video and silkscreen and published Technicolor Busan in 2025. After moving into Ami-jeom in March 2026, he continued photography education with residents. Ask what each person wanted to keep, rather than ranking technical polish. The opening photograph records October 6 and does not represent every venue.

Choose a venue, not an ambitious circuit
The four locations are separate. Jung-gu Cultural Center is closed on Sunday October 11; Choi Min-sik Gallery is closed on Monday October 12; Forest 3002 closes on Tuesday, which includes the final day, October 13. Choose the location that works with your date and confirm access before leaving.
Take a question home
After viewing, discuss what you would photograph on the street you use every day. This is a suggestion for reflection, not a promised workshop or an organized photo walk. The release does not specify a booking procedure; ask the venue about group visits and facilities. Follow on-site rules for photographing the artworks.
