Choose a base
The main venues are Gyeonggi Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art in Icheon, Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum in Gwangju and Gyeonggi Museum of Ceramic Design in Yeoju. A focused visit to one city may be more rewarding than rushing through all three. A combined admission pass does not itself provide transport.
Compare exhibition themes
The program includes the Icheon thematic exhibition and international competition, presentations of master ceramists and Korean ceramics in Gwangju, and Unfamiliar Tradition in Yeoju. Some individual exhibitions continue beyond the biennale, so distinguish their dates from the main November 1 closing date.
Passes and activities
The regular combined pass costs KRW 11,000. Individual regular admission is KRW 6,000 in Icheon and KRW 4,000 each in Gwangju and Yeoju. Do not confuse earlier advance-sale prices with the current standard price. Children’s programs, workshops, talks and markets follow their own calendars; check eligibility, reservations and any extra fees.
Hours and practical details
The official visitor guide lists daily opening throughout the biennale, 10:00–18:00, with admission ending at 17:00. The September 17 ceremony and its guest performances have finished.
