A Crown Prince’s Day exhibition
The Seongjeonggak and Gwanmulheon exhibition is announced for 10:00–17:00. The programme is free, while palace admission is separate. Korean and English audio guidance is available. Heeuru visits use on-site registration
Regular access to the eastern pavilion, Heeuru, is offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 to 16:30, in 24 fifteen-minute sessions with eight visitors each. Registration is on site. Sunday does not follow this regular visiting format, so do not treat Saturday and Sunday as interchangeable. Check the available session when you arrive.
Sunday activities for younger pupils
The baedong learning programme is for primary-school grades one to three, with Sunday sessions at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Each is approximately 50 minutes, limited to ten children, and requires hanbok. Advance reservations were opened on Ticketlink. Confirm availability, eligibility and practical participation conditions before booking; ordinary exhibition access does not secure a place.
Saturday theatre as another option
Free theatre viewing is announced at 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 on Saturdays. Combining a display visit with one performance can connect the educational setting with its reenactment. Allow time for movement and any on-site registration if also hoping to enter Heeuru. Check palace closure and weather notices for your date.
