The Sungnyemun Guard Ceremony reenacts traditional gatekeeping at Sungnyemun Square. It runs 10:00–15:40 except Mondays, with a break from 12:00 to 13:00. Gate opening: 10:00–10:10; guard duty: 10:00–15:30; gate closing: 15:30–15:40. Patrols take place at Namdaemun Market from 11:20 to 11:40 and Seoul Station from 14:45 to 15:00. Weather may cause cancellations.
