Celebrating over 500 years of cultivated Korean ginseng heritage nestled at the foot of Sobaeksan Mountain, the Yeongju Punggi Ginseng Festival will take place from Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 11, 2026, along the scenic Namwoncheon stream banks in Punggi-eup, Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Famed throughout East Asia for its dense roots, potent aroma, and high saponin content, Punggi ginseng takes center stage with direct farm markets, wellness gastronomy, and interactive harvesting experiences.
